A series of small sand-and-pebble coves along the Karsıyaka coastline, ten minutes on foot from the villa down quiet village roads. Crystal-clear water, lightly used by locals, with the Five Finger Mountains rising directly behind. The closest swimming option to the villa. And the easiest.
Closest to the villaLapta · 5-10 min drive
A small private beach club with sun loungers, umbrellas, a bar and a relaxed daytime crowd. Day passes available for non-guests; calm sheltered water and uncrowded even in peak season. The default beach-club option for a lazy day out of the house.
Easy day passKaraoğlanoğlu · 10 min drive
A long open stretch of sand and shingle west of Kyrenia town, fronted by a row of seafood restaurants. Calm shallow water, easy parking, and a relaxed all-day atmosphere. The 1974 Peace and Freedom Museum sits on the headland just above.

A gorgeous sheltered cove at the Denizkızı Hotel, set in a natural bay with calm turquoise water. Day passes available for non-guests and include loungers, umbrellas, parking, showers and changing rooms. One of the prettiest beach spots on the north coast.

Over a mile of sandy beach attached to the Acapulco Resort, with the largest aqua park in Northern Cyprus, water sports, and an adult-only infinity pool. Best as a full-day outing for families.
Biggest sandy stretchEsentepe (east of Kyrenia) · 40 min drive
A protected stretch of golden sand where loggerhead and green turtles nest from May to October. Dawn or dusk visits in summer often catch turtles laying or hatchlings reaching the sea. Guided turtle-watching tours run from the SPOT visitor centre.

The wild, undeveloped tip of the island. Long empty beaches like Golden Beach (Altın Kumsal) where wild donkeys roam and turtles nest. A long day trip but unmatched on the Mediterranean for raw natural beauty.
